Philosophy of Care Statement

We exist solely to serve our customers; our mission is to enhance the quality of life of every one of our service users by providing innovative, high-quality care and support services in quality environments. We genuinely consult with the people who use our services, staff and other stakeholders to find ways to improve services and to introduce new services to meet newly identified needs.

We aim to meet people’s needs for independence, personal choice and control, privacy, fulfillment, safety, citizenship and social interaction in respectful and dignified ways that enable them to live more fulfilled lives.  We believe that ensuring these needs are met will promote an overall sense of wellbeing and clearly demonstrate to the people who use our services that care and kindness are at the heart of the services we provided.

People are our most important consideration and our most important asset. The most vital resource to our company is our staff, therefore we strive to attract and retain outstanding employees.  We believe in and we strive to maintain an open, friendly and supportive organisation.  Our services are built around teams of people who co-operate and support each other in order to achieve the best results for the people who use Fremantle services.

Our services are for two distinct groups within our society – older people and people with learning disabilities. For people with learning disabilities we provide supported living facilities; this kind of service helps empower individuals to live as full and independent lives as possible and to become more integrated with society at large.  We also provide more traditional care home services for people with higher level learning disability, physical and emotional needs.  We provide a variety of services for older people: residential care homes for people who require full time support and assistance with personal care and other tasks of everyday life, also for people who require specialist dementia care, or have nursing care needs.  In addition we also support older people who are able to live in their own homes but benefit from day care facilities and Extra care tenants for whom we provide domiciliary support  so that thy can live in their own flats.
