Fremantle Services for People with a Learning Disability
Promoting choice and independence
Fremantle services are based around the REACH standards for quality. We are committed to
-
listening to people and building services that meet their needs, wishes and aspirations
-
great staff who stay with the people they support
-
a culture that supports responsible risk taking
-
giving people chances to build links outside the service
Fremantle supports 240 people with learning disabilities in permanent care. Some respite places are available at Downley Lodge, High Wycombe.
Currently all of these services are under contract to Local Authorities and places are allocated by their Social Services departments.
With the introduction of Self Directed Support (April 2010) Fremantle will begin providing services direct to people who hold their own budgets. We are currently planning the range of these services. If you are an individual budget holder and would like to talk to us about a personalised service please call 01296 737366 and speak to Claire Gajeckyj in the first instance.
Fremantle employs 243 staff in services for people with a learning disability - and is recognised for the high standards of training and development provided to ensure staff have the special skills needed for their work.
