Project Care
Project Care is a partnership between The Fremantle Trust, Housing Solutions Group and Buckinghamshire County Council which will rebuild and redevelop services for older people and people with a learning disability in Buckinghamshire.
Eight new older people's care homes are being built; four have already opened in Aylesbury, Lewin House; in Princes Risborough, Icknield Court; in High Wycombe, The Heights and at Wing, Carey Lodge.
These new homes will provide more flexible and specialist services for older people, including more dementia care, nursing care and care for the frail elderly.
The project will also deliver enhanced services for people with learning disabilities. These include both supported living schemes and care homes - offering a range of housing and care options according to wishes and needs.
